This web site is maintained for the family of Andro and Barbara Paur; and is dedicated to the memory of Andro and Barbara Paur. Andro and Barbara (Grampaw and Grammaw to your WebMaster) were Croation emigrants from Yugoslavia. Finally settling in Staunton, Illinois, Andro worked in the local coal mine, while Barbara raised nine children. I'm sure they were proud that their sons did not spend their lives working in the mines.
My personal memories are of summer vacations and holiday visits to Staunton. I particularly remember Grammaw's babushkas and Grampaw's mustache. I'm sure my cousins had their own memories, and I hope they will share them with the rest of us.
